SKI.F.T. - Skills for Transition - Increasing the Impact of Micro and Small Social Economy Enterprises
aims to support the development of small and micro cooperative and social economy enterprises (SMEs) for green transition. The purpose is to contribute to the development of new business models in the circular economy and engage these businesses in green transition activities.
SKI.F.T. will provide cooperative and social economy enterprises with fewer than 50 employees with mentoring, business development, and financial support to adjust their business models. The project aims to support businesses in their collaboration with local and green value chain partners and strengthen them in communication through documentation and showcasing of their results.
The SKI.F.T. project aims to:
- Develop sustainable business models based on new technologies that enable green transition activities.
- Assist companies in reconsidering their role in relation to private and public actors, as well as in establishing local green markets and value chains.
- Support them in communicating their efforts more effectively by collecting documentation and disseminating results to a broader audience.
Through the project's activities, SKI.F.T. partners will employ a collective approach based on:
- Transnational exchange organized in continuous interaction and feedback with local actors and activities.
- Joint capacity-building sessions at the local level (organized alongside individual counseling and coaching), bringing together small and micro-cooperative enterprises as well as private and public actors and potential partners to develop entrepreneurship from a systemic perspective based on collaboration and partnership.
This will promote the emergence of local green value chains increasingly based on democratic and purpose-driven cooperative principles.
